Vital point therapy
By pressing of energy points, through the process of unblocking of meridians, Marma Vidnyana (Ayurveda reflex therapy) is a millennial science which amazes us today by it efficiency.
The energetic treatment is effective for the nervous system affliction and for hormonal and metabolic disorders. Through removing the residual storages which stagnate in certain points and energetic channels, also in the joints or in muscular fibres, these therapies relax the body and offer the possibility to recover through resonance with the universal healthy energies.
Nowadays we do research for the purpose of producing very effective remedies in accordance with old Ayurveda recipes, but we are using equivalent extracts from native plants.
Ayurveda Medical Center Sibiu produces a line of natural medicines from Romanian plants. Hydro-alcoholic or oil extracts can concentrate the therapeutic properties of plants and can be used in an extremely precise dosage.

§ Plants contain, besides substances, a kind of science, a subtle and profound vibration loaded with information, from which the body learns the way of healing.
§ The plants’ natural substances are asimilated in the exact doses we need. The body will extract the necessary dose and there is not an overloading like in the case of the synthesis of chemical medicines.
§ A cure produced by natural products is long-lasting and thorough, as opposed to synthetic products in which case the cure is apparent, short-term and just symptomatic.
Another goal in Ayurveda is cosmetic through natural treatments. Beautifying and rejuvenating massages remove from your face, annoyance, anger, sorrow, stress and tensions and fill up the soul with love, harmony and inner strength. The use of plants, essential oils and natural extracts according to individual recipes has a rejuvenating and healing effect and restores a glow to your countenance.
The healthy and clean state of the body is reflected in the skin. The Ayurveda treatment programs integrate all organs and their functions and through Rasayana and Panchakarma cures. They eliminate the residual substances which are accumulated in tissues and resettle the complete health of the skin.
Besides the other natural methods, the art-therapy is very important in Ayurveda because it is considered the most subtle and the most pleasurable of the therapies. The art-therapy effects are most powerful because they attend to the nervous and endocrine system through the harmonious emotions generated from it. Ayurveda Medical Center Sibiu collaborates with great Indian art personalities. We are using the music and the dance in art-therapy performances.
The beautiful and talented dancer Bhakti Devi, an international south-Indian dance teacher, gave performances in Sibiu organised by The Ayurveda Medical Center.

A possible definition of Rasayana in Ayurveda is: "That which destroys old age and disease." It means that even those who are in their 80's or 90's, can perform their normal duties and they don't have to depend on others. Rejuvenation or Rasayana is not intended for sense gratification as many of us think today. According to Ayurveda, rejuvenation takes place so that a person can become healthy and explore the spiritual aspect of life. People can learn how to maintain a balance between the material and spiritual aspects of life. This will help in establishing the peace, happiness and love, which we always long for. The therapy aims at keeping the enzymes in the tissue cells in their normal functioning condition. These cells are revitalized and their composition changed. The tranquility of the mind has to be promoted and the nerves as well as bones are to be kept soft and soothed. This prevents the process of aging and makes the individual free from disease even during an advanced age. The elderly person will be able to see as they did before, and the sharpness of hearing and vision continues. Facial glow and skin color remain as they are in the case of a younger person. Before starting the therapy, it is best for the body to be cleansed of metabolic waste products through specialized therapies indicated in the Pancha Karma. The person taking Rasayana is taught to think, speak and work in such a way which would be conducive to the development of a healthy society. In fact, these principles are given high priority in Ayurveda and they themselves are considered to have rejuvenating effects on the human body.
There are two possible methods of utilizing the Rasayana therapy. Kutipravesika: In this method, the person has to stay indoors, preferable at an ayurvedic clinic. The person has to strictly follow the diets and other instructions of the physician. He should undergo Panch Karma therapy before taking the rejuvenation. This type is, therefore, not suitable for a person who has to carry on his profession or family responsibilities. Vatatapika: This method is best for people who don't have time to stay in the Ayurvedic clinic. This type requires taking different types of Ayurvedic herbal preparations which are prescribed by the doctor.

§ Vajikarana - therapies for the extension of sexual potency, aphrodisiacs and tonics. This branch of Ayurveda highlights the fact that sexual continence is essential for good health. It helps increase the will power, intellect and memory in addition to promoting a healthy body. The reproductive tissue (shukra dhatu) has a direct link with ojas or the immunity of the body. Hence, Vajikarana prescribed the therapeutic use of various aphrodisiacs and tonic preparations for enhancing the vigor and reproductive capabilities of men that also strengthens other body tissues (dhatus) like muscles, fat, bones and blood. Vajikarana is mainly concerned with therapies that deal with specific remedies for male infertility and impotence as well as female infertility. They serve as good aphrodisiacs and induce an immediate sense of pleasurable excitement, along with increased fertile seminal secretions even in an aging person.

Those who apply Ayurveda appear to be more profound, radiant and effective. They are in harmony with themselves and they know perfectly what they need. This is possible because Ayurveda represents more than a science-art of healing; it is a valuable, simple and natural lifestyle which resettles human beings in total harmony both with themselves and with the environment. Ayurveda is an art. The one who practices it, who dedicates his life to it, is the one who understands it, is amazed and applies it. To live by this way means to be in a perfect concordance with nature’s biorhythms. It can also improve the ability to perceive food and plants appropriatlely. It means to obtain the ability to enter through the gate of the inner universe which is opening in ourselves by a wonderful and diverse psycho-emotional state made by plants and by natural therapeutic procedures and which can evoke and maintain these sublime and angelic states whenever we like. A spiritual and correct way to lead and to look at your life is there revealed, and a whole new world oppens to the eyes of one who is an insider in the Science of Life.
